PATIENT ROOMS

Commissioned to create the art for a new hospital floor at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm, Sweden.

In this project, Alejandro Montero Bravo was commissioned to create an artistic design that decorates both the main corridor and the patient rooms on one of the new floors of the hospital. They created six larger works that include LED lighting and 15 smaller works for the patient rooms. The idea behind the pieces was to create collage-based works that evoke curiosity and transport thoughts to a place where color, light, and materiality take center stage.

Alejandro wanted to create something that gave the corridor a softer and warmer energy, thereby creating spaces that allow those present to dream themselves away.
