BETWEEN THE LINES(2024)

By working with a collage technique in which various elements are suspended in the airspace above the staircase, I aim to create a piece that allows the viewer to see the artwork in new ways from different angles. This refers to how, when we read, our imagination is activated, and we interpret what happens between the lines.

To understand the whole, one sometimes needs to view it from different perspectives—and in doing so, learn that what is left unsaid may be what gives the story depth and a unique character. It is often what is not visible that makes a story, or a person, multifaceted and complete. The empty space between the lines can be what makes the experience unique, and what happens between the lines is what weaves the whole together.
